Azmi Shahrin was born in Ipoh and received his early education at St. Michael’s Institution, Ipoh and Malay College Kuala Kangsar. He won a Shell Scholarship to further his studies at the University of Kent (UK) where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics. He subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Malaya (2009) and he is currently a PhD candidate at the same university. He has been a member of MENSA since 1989. Azmi has had more than a decade’s working experience with several companies including Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn. Bhd. and Maxis Communications Bhd. However, destiny was calling and in 2003 Azmi quit his well-paying job to become a full-time trainer.
Azmi owes the turning point of his life to Toastmasters. In 1998, he joined Extol Toastmasters Club to sharpen his public speaking and communication skills. He was President of the club in 2005-2006. He was also instrumental in the founding of Kelab Pidato Perdana (a BM public speaking club) where he served as President in 2004/2005 and is currently the Chief Trainer. In 2007/2008, Azmi was Governor of Division W and had the responsibility of overseeing 32 clubs. He was also a trainer with the Toastmasters Leadership Institute. He has won many prizes in speech contests over the years and awards for excellent leadership and dedicated service. All these enabled Azmi to launch and excel at his new career as a public speaker and public speaking trainer. Azmi is also Certified Trainer with the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF).
Azmi has conducted training for the private/corporate sector, the public sector, educational establishments as well as members of the public. While he specializes in public speaking and presentation skills, he is also competent in related areas such as communication skills, interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, English language skills and leadership skills. Dr. Alvin Teoh

Dr. Alvin Teoh grew up in Ipoh and began his career as a veterinary surgeon after obtaining his Doctor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from Universiti Putra Malaysia. However, in 2001, Dr. Alvin launched his new career as a corporate trainer in NLP and behavioural sciences which is where his true passion lies. To date, he is a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Semantics (NS), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) as well as Hypnosis & Time-Lines recognized by Dr. Michael Hall’s International Society of Neuro-Semantics (USA). He is also a Certified Practitioner of NLP under Dr. William Horton’s National Federation of NLP (USA). Dr. Alvin further holds a Diploma in Psychological Counseling and a Diploma in Stress Management from the Institute of Health Care Administration (India). He is a published author with Pelanduk Publications and Gerak Budaya.
Besides his fascination with the inner workings of the human mind, Dr. Alvin is also passionate about public speaking and beauty. He has been involved with the Toastmasters movement since 2001. He is currently attached with Sunway Toastmasters Club. A fiery speaker, he has won numerous awards for captivating presentations and regularly serves as a judge at speech contests. He has earned a Certificate in Teaching Speech and Drama from Crestar (Malaysia) and a Certificate in Beauty Foundation from Radiance Perfect Academy (Malaysia). Besides NLP, Dr. Alvin also conducts training in public speaking, presentation skills, beauty and grooming.
Dr. Alvin has conducted seminars and workshops for directors, managers, executives, entrepreneurs, educators, doctors and participants of various corporate and academic levels from various fields and industries. He is regularly sought by the Ministry of Health Malaysia to create and conduct team building modules upon which government doctors are evaluated for their career advancement and promotion. Rohijas bin Md Sharif

Rohijas Md Sharif grew up in Ipoh. He attended Malay College Kuala Kangsar and went on to pursue his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at the New Mexico State University (USA) under a JPA scholarship. Subsequently, Rohijas worked for an illustrious list of employers including Texas Instruments Malaysia, Renong Group, UEM Group, Syarikat Prasarana Negara and CIMA Group.
It was Rohijas' past employments which launched him into the world of training. As part of his employment, he conducted many internal training programmes in the areas of problem solving and decision making, quality control, productivity, innovation, project management, risk management, business process mapping, continual improvement, ISO, Six Sigma and purchasing policy. In the process, Rohijas collected a handful of formal qualifications such as Certificate in Leadership Development (Newscastle Business School), Certified Team Building Facilitator, Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving & Decision Making Certified Programme Leader, Six Sigma Green Belt and Learning English Family Facilitator. Besides conducting training himself, Rohijas also had the opportunity to be involved in training programme management. He was the training manager for Negeri Sembilan Cement Industries (under CIMA Group), in charge of identifying staff training needs and planning the training programmes.
Another area that Rohijas excels in is public speaking and presentation skills. He has been an active member of Toastmasters International since 2002 and is currently a member of KL Advanced Toastmasters Club. Throughout the years, he acted in various capacities as trainer, coach and mentor. He achieved the title of Distinguished Toastmaster in 2009. Rohijas is also an active member of Kelab Pidato Perdana, aimed at helping Malaysians improve their public speaking skills in Bahasa Malaysia. He achieved the title of Pemidato Mahir Pangkat 1 and was appointed as a coach for the members. On the commercial level, Rohijas has conducted training in public speaking and presentation skills for various companies and organizations. One of his favourite side topics is humour and he has also delivered talks on this.
Rohijas has been a full time speaker, motivator and trainer since 2015. He is currently involved in a large-scale project of nurturing and developing secondary school students with a local foundation. Another one of his recent ventures is in personality and competency assessment using trait.
Zainudin bin Kadir
(Trainer for Leadership Skills)
Zainudin Kadir holds a Master of Business Administration from Charles Sturt University, Australia. He has 28 years of corporate working experience in a diverse range of industries. Among other positions, he was the District Trainer for KFC Holdings (M) Sdn. Bhd. and the Training Manager for Tesco Stores (M) Sdn. Bhd.. In the latter position, he was responsible for organizing and delivering training solutions for leadership, general and operational skills for 52 stores and 2 distribution centres in Malaysia. He was also accountable to identify training requirements across the stores and help stores to have clear training plans in order to meet the needs of people development, customer relation and business operation. He has conducted many training programmes on the topic of leadership and team building, besides other operational training programmes in retail management and quick service restaurant management.
Today, Zainudin runs his own training business. His areas of expertise include leadership & team building, human resources, customer service, management and food safety. Besides his vast hands-on experience, he also has a slew of certificates to prove his credential. Zainudin a Certified Trainer with the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF), an Accredited Training Specialist with the Institute of Leadership & Management (UK), a Certified Trainer for Situational Leadership II with Ken Blanchard Companies (USA), and a Certified Food Handler Trainer recognized by the Ministry of Health Malaysia. In addition, he is a Panel Member of Curriculum Development for National Occupational Skills Standard and a Committee Member of Technical Standard for National Occupational Skills Standard, both under the Ministry of Human Resources.
Over the years, Zainudin has trained thousands of representatives from government ministries and large organizations including Ministry of Human Resources, International Islamic University Malaysia, McDonald’s Malaysia, KFC Holdings Malaysia, Marrybrown Malaysia, A & W Malaysia, Dutch Lady Malaysia, Perwira Niaga Malaysia and others. In 2014, he received a Certificate of Appreciation from Datuk Richard Riot Jaem, Minister of Human Resources Malaysia for his contribution to Tesco Malaysia in successfully completing the National Dual Training System with a total of 123 staff graduating from the Technical Education Vocational Training. Among his training programme participants, Zainudin is known for his applicable and job-related content delivered at a vibrant pace. His mastery in combining soft skill concepts with real life requirements makes him a highly respected trainer.
As an independent trainer, Zainudin intends to expand his repertoire to include more training programmes aimed at all levels of society and organization.

Sandy Tan grew up in Klang where she received her early education. She excelled in her studies from a young age and was named the Best Overall Student of Methodist Girls' School, Klang in 1991. Sandy pursued the A-Levels at Taylor's College, Subang Jaya before furthering her studies at the London School of Economics & Political Science, University of London and Nuffield College, University of Oxford where she earned the BSc (Econs) Econometrics & Mathematical Economics and the MPhil in Economics, respectively. From 1999 to 2003, Sandy lectured at the Sepang Institute of Technology. From 2004 to 2008, she worked for 2 different organizations in the area of administration and research.
Sandy embarked on her public speaking journey in April 2004 when she joined the D'Utama Toastmasters Club. She obtained her Competent Toastmasters award in January 2006. She then joined Kelab Pidato Perdana (a Malay-language Toastmasters club) in order to improve her spoken Bahasa Malaysia. She was elected the Vice-President of Education in 2006/2007 and the President in 2007/2008. As a result of her many contributions, Sandy was voted the Division W Toastmaster of the Year 2007/2008 (from among 32 clubs). She has been the Chief Coordinator for Kelab Pidato Perdana since April 2009 when the club became independent from Toastmasters. Under her leadership, Kelab Pidato Perdana expanded from one centre in Kuala Lumpur (2009) to 20 centres across Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore (2016). From time to time, Sandy travels to these centres to conduct public speaking sessions for her members (there are other coordinators and coaches in Kelab Pidato). She is also the coach for KPP English which is the English-language branch of Kelab Pidato Perdana. In 2016, Sandy rejoined D'Utama Toastmasters Club to continue honing her public speaking skills in English.
In July 2008, Sandy Tan set up ProSkills Trainers as a training provider specializing in public speaking, communication and language programmes. She has organized many successful public programmes, handled requests for in-house training, as well as developed new programmes and modules. She is the founder of the very effective "Formula 8+8" for public speaking. Needless to say, Sandy has also conducted her own training programmes. To date, she has had experience conducting training in public speaking and English. Sandy obtained her Certified Trainer qualification from the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) in September 2009. She is currently a shareholder and director of Epic Training Sdn. Bhd. which was incorporated in July 2014 to replace ProSkills Trainers.
Sandy hopes to develop herself and other trainers to serve their mission well.
